Responsible for leading and maintaining the regional quality ensuring compliance with aviation regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and company standards across North America.
Ensures compliance with applicable aviation regulatory requirements, customer standards, company processes and procedures while driving continuous improvement.
Key deliverables and Responsibilities:
• Maintain the regional Quality in line with AS9120, ISO9001, FAA, EASA, and customer requirements.
• Ensure Quality compliance across all North America sites through effective quality oversight and governance.
• Manage and support internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits, including corrective action follow-up and closure across North America
• Oversee non-conformance management processes, ensuring appropriate containment, investigation, and resolution of quality issues across North Amercia
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities relating to customer complaints, supplier issues, and operational quality concerns.
• Support counterfeit parts prevention initiatives and ensure compliance with aviation safety and airworthiness standards.
• Monitor and report on regional quality performance and support supplier approval, evaluation, and corrective action activities.
• Analyse quality metrics and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across regional operations to improve compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide quality training, guidance, and support to teams and regional stakeholders.
• Act as the regional escalation point for significant quality, compliance, or customer-related issues.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, and global Quality teams to ensure consistent quality standards.
• Promote a proactive quality culture focused on compliance, accountability, risk reduction, and operational excellence across North America

Requirements – experience/qualifications:
• Proven experience in quality, engineering, Aerospace or related industry
• Minimum 5-7 years experience within aerospace or aviation distribution quality
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9120, or other relevant quality standards
• Knowledge of FAA and EASA regulations
• Strong understanding of aviation distribution processes and supply chain
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective action management
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working with internal teams
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independently while supporting cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to read and understand technical data including drawings and specifications, etc
• Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, MS Office.
