Gary Horobin, Farsound Aviation’s Business Development Manager - Asia, has been nominated for the British Business Awards (BBA) Entrepreneur of the Year organised by the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ).
As Farsound’s sole representative in Japan, Gary has established new partnerships with a number of local manufacturers, including IHI Corporation, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Jupitor Corporation, Todo International, Sunwa Trading Corporation, Nakanishi Shoji Co Ltd and Jalux Inc.
The winner of the BBA Entrepreneur of the Year award will be decided by a panel of six independent judges and the result will be announced at a ceremony to be held on November 2nd at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo.
Established in 1948, BCCJ is a not-for-profit private membership organisation representing over 200 companies. Its mission is to strengthen business ties between the UK and Japan and actively encourage new British business into the Japanese market as well as Japanese investment into the UK.
