Farsound Aviation is encouraging its workforce to travel more sustainably and to enjoy a more active lifestyle this summer. The company has launched a brand-new ‘Cycle to Work’ scheme to encourage employees to leave their cars at home and hop on their bicycles.
The initiative is supported by the UK government’s Bike2Work scheme, which works with businesses across the country that are keen to increase fitness levels, motivation and productivity amongst their workforces. Research has proven that people who arrive at work energised and inspired will produce stronger results, as well as enjoy higher levels of personal health, energy and job satisfaction.
Bike2Work is free to sign up to and offers employers and employees multiple benefits, from discounts on bicycles, e-bikes and accessories to free advice around sustainable travel and healthy living.
Lee Kelsey, Farsound Aviation’s Sales Director commented:
“There is a well-proven link between employees’ health and happiness levels and staff productivity. Making the simple switch to a green commute by cycling instead of driving to work can make a huge difference. At Farsound Aviation we continue to encourage the team to make healthier and more environmentally friendly lifestyle choices.”
